Super Quick Play Break

My new favorite play break… the random acrostic

Take a word, any word. The name of your company, your dog, or the task you are currently doing. Write it vertically down the side of your paper and use the first letter of each to write a new word! Try one completely random or try one that’s meaningful.

It can be based on your mood, or your vision. If you are currently frustrated with outlook - maybe it looks like this

O – oof
U – ugh
T – terrible
L – literally WHY
O – overcomplicated
O – oh my god WHY
K – k…lunky

or maybe you crushed that last work project/task?

D – did that
O – on point
N – nailed it
E – exhale

Try one and hit reply with what you came up with!! I’d love to read it!

These small, invitation-based moments of play are exactly how I help teams reset, build connection, and keep work feeling a little more human.

side note: I think I accidentally called it an anagram somewhere recently on the interwebs but who knows where, so that’s embarrassing.
