Introducing Allie Reitz
Allie was one of the first entrepreneurs I met in Denver when I started my company way back (ha) in 2022. She and I have worked together in multiple ways
She took me through one of her mission/vision/values session
She has helped me create user journeys for my clients
She’s given me ENDLESS feedback on so much of my work
We are both members at Tarra
I provide play and flow coaching and training for her Launch Academy founders
She’s always ready to play (Spot It seems to be her favorite!) and lunch at Mr. Oso’s.
I’m excited for you all to meet one of my favorite people!
Hi there! I’m Allie.
I’m a playful, “visionary” person (like you, if you’re reading Acey’s newsletter), and I believe that bringing new ideas into the world is one of our most exciting human superpowers. I’ve been playing and creating my entire life - I’m a 4-time founder and business owner, and I’ve been an audio engineer, composer, UX designer, yoga teacher, no-code developer, product manager, volunteer community organizer, business strategy consultant, and more things.
Infusing Daily Life with Creativity & Play
How do you incorporate play and creativity into your daily routine to enhance personal growth?
Over the course of my creative career, I’ve learned just how crucial Play can be! I’ve even developed a framework for mastering the art of bringing new ideas into the world consistently and effortlessly, and Play is an extremely important component of building the energy that fuels our creative action. In my programs, I talk a lot about what I call the Visionary Mindset - the ability to hold a big vision lightly, while exploring the many ways a project could generate a strong exchange of energy from day one. This approach to creating is exciting, because it encourages us to let go a little and think about all our endeavors as playful experiments!
The Art of Balancing: Productivity & Play
How do you balance the need for productivity with the need for creative play in your professional life?

Insights from Neuroscience
What's one neuroscience or psychology fact that you've learned from Acey that has had a notable impact on your life?
Learning about the Flow Cycle from Acey has completely changed my life - I am now so much more kind to myself! Each time I find myself crushing it in the Flow state, I have learned from Acey to expect a “crash” afterwards. I have stopped judging myself for the way I feel after I leave the Flow state, and I have even begun to fantasize about planning dedicated play and rest ahead of time!
Thank you, Allie, for sharing with us.
